Alexandra Palace is steeped in rich and eclectic history, opened in 1863 as a leisure destination for Victorian Londoners. Built as the ‘People’s Palace’, this remarkable seven-acre Park and Grade II listed building remains one of London most iconic structures. Over a 150 year history it has been the home of extraordinary events – the first high definition television broadcast in 1936, The Rolling Stones in 1964, the ground breaking 14 Hour Technicolor Dream in 1967, The Brit Awards in 1993, The X Factor and Skepta in 2016 – and continues to set a president for excellence in London events.
Our capacity is over 10,000sqm with nine spaces and 196 acres of parkland offering unprecedented views of London. The multi-award winning destination maintains its original enterprising spirit by hosting an eclectic mix of live music, sport and leisure events throughout the year. Going from strength to strength in the last five years, the volume of events has risen by 38%. 2015 and 2016 mark the highest performing years in the history of the Palace.
HMS Belfast, a Lime Venue Portfolio venue, has had an amazing 12 months. Growth in enquiries has led to new business, return business and healthy growth.
Now, the business is able to contribute to its key communities; its staff, event organisers, delegates, and the Veterans Association, those involved in the Ship’s past, and involved in the legacy that is the Ship’s future.
Ironmongers’ Hall was completed in 1925 and is the home of the Worshipful Company of Ironmongers, who received their Charter from King Edward IV in 1463.
This beautifully maintained hall is AIM accredited and does have air-conditioning and natural daylight throughout. It is discreetly located in the City of London and even offers a charming courtyard within its grounds.
Our team take ownership in their day to day roles and pride themselves on delivering an exceptional standard of service. Our catering is provided by Fare who source the best ingredients from impeccable suppliers and employ award-winning chefs to produce mouth-watering food. We have used social media, familiarisation trips and referral schemes to attract new clients to the Hall, but find that word of mouth is the most successful marketing channel of all.
We have recently introduced cocktail making demonstrations and tutored wine tastings to our clients in addition to our ever-popular historical tours of the building. This gives our clients added value and is reflected in fact that we have an excellent rate of repeat business at 54%.

Natural History Museum is one of the most iconic and recognisable buildings in the world, home to over 80 million historical artifacts, and as such seen an exponential rise in the number of events held in its varied offering of event spaces. This year the Museum has reimagined its main event space Hintze Hall, in part of its biggest transformation in its 136 year history, with a 25.2m real blue whale skeleton suspended from the ceiling taking centre stage.
With a dedicated in-house team of events experts, the Museum has held 105 events in the past year, welcomed 80 new clients and increased profitability by 13% to £2.608m.
Plaisterers’ Hall is a stunning historic venue in the heart of the City, and is suited perfectly to a wide range of occasions. It has a grandeur that upholds the tradition and values of the Plaisterers’ trade guild, founded in 1501.
The venue comprises of a multitude of different sized rooms, making it an incredibly flexible event space for our clients. The main space, the Great Hall, is an impressive backdrop and benefits from elegant corniced ceilings hanging with the finest gold chandeliers. As well as floor length windows flooding the venue with natural light, there is a private outside space where guests can enjoy views of the original Roman London Wall. The outdoor area is ideal for summer drinks receptions and parties in the City The Great Hall’s adjoining rooms can be used for anything from break-out spaces and entertainment to the setting for welcome drinks, or even as a dressing room for wedding celebrations.
