Alexandra Palace is steeped in rich and eclectic history, opened in 1863 as a leisure destination for Victorian Londoners. Built as the ‘People’s Palace’, this remarkable seven-acre Park and Grade II listed building remains one of London most iconic structures. Over a 150 year history it has been the home of extraordinary events – the first high definition television broadcast in 1936, The Rolling Stones in 1964, the ground breaking 14 Hour Technicolor Dream in 1967, The Brit Awards in 1993, The X Factor and Skepta in 2016 – and continues to set a president for excellence in London events.
Our capacity is over 10,000sqm with nine spaces and 196 acres of parkland offering unprecedented views of London. The multi-award winning destination maintains its original enterprising spirit by hosting an eclectic mix of live music, sport and leisure events throughout the year. Going from strength to strength in the last five years, the volume of events has risen by 38%. 2015 and 2016 mark the highest performing years in the history of the Palace.

ExCeL is still a relatively young company and we have been able to achieve outstanding results in a very short space of time.
When we opened in November 2000, the whole area was under huge regeneration and we had to work hard to educate our clients about the possibilities our venue and destination could offer them back then and in the future.
It’s hard to believe that only 16 years later we have hosted some of the world’s leading events such as The G20 London Summit, The London 2012 Olympic & Paralympic Games, The Foreign & Commonwealth Office Global Summit and a whole host of well-respected conferences and event brands.
This success, we believe, is based on understanding the right opportunities for growth and we use our knowledge and expertise to help our clients achieve great results. This is the standard we set and constantly strive towards, so that every experience we create, in partnership with our clients, is impactful.
We will continue to invest where it matters most so that every event has what it needs to succeed, each and every time.
Printworks London (Created by Venue Lab)
Printworks London (formerly Harmsworth Quays) was established in the docklands in 1989, and for 24 years The Evening Standard, The Daily Mail and Metro newspapers rolled off its presses. The unique site has now embraced a new lease of life, in which the former factory’s warehouses and magnificent Press Halls have been revived as ground-breaking, multi-purpose event spaces. . It comprises over 5-acres of private, gated land, with six event spaces arranged over multiple levels with a maze of corridors and offices.
The venue offers 119,200 sq. ft. of versatile event space with a capacity of 6,000 and a 2am licence at weekends. A further 40,000 sq. ft. of outdoor space and parking is also available, offering producers, agencies and brands masses of creative, flexible and inspiring infrastructure.
The Artillery Garden at The HAC an Ultimate Experience Venue
The Artillery Garden is an impressive marquee which stands within the secure grounds of the Honourable Artillery Company and against the stunning backdrop of the historic Armoury House and buildings. It is a magnificent event space with the capacity of between 250 to 2,400 guests, perfect for both summer and winter events.
Benefitting from prime position in the heart of the City, The Artillery Garden makes the ideal setting for a variety of events including summer and Christmas parties, charity dinners, conferences and award ceremonies. This sort of entertainment is the only one of its kind within the City.
Our events business has grown considerably over the last 10 years and our calendar is more diverse than ever. The venue has been a game changer in the live music experience – it raised the bar in terms of what fans expect, what artists expect and the overall experience. This is something we’ve been able to transfer to the corporate events side. Organisers know if they choose The O2 for their event they have incredible scope in terms of activating our entire venue for large events, while also having access to Up at The O2 and corporate hospitality options. We pride ourselves on offering our clients an excellent service, while continuing to push the boundaries of what’s possible on a daily basis.
It’s only been 10 years but we’ve made our mark on London from an iconic building to an iconic event venue with a world class team.
Tobacco Dock is one of the capital’s most unusual and atmospheric spaces. Equidistant from London’s financial district, Canary Wharf and Tech City, it combines stripped-back, Grade-1 listed interiors, dominated by brick barrel-vaulted ceilings and punctuated with original ironwork, wood beams and glass walls; a blend of heritage and contemporary design. The 40 Event spaces are pared-back and stylish, offering quayside views and plenty of natural daylight.
The scale and diversity of space within Tobacco Dock make it one of the first choices for agencies and event organisers looking to host large scale, creative events benefitting from both stunning architecture and flexibility, complemented by a host of innovative features, including customisable WiFi portals and iBeacons.
