Throughout January 2018, Big Chill Kings Cross underwent its biggest transformation to date, an extensive ground floor refurbishment to the 9,500 sq. ft. space. For the new look and feel we hired Finch Interiors, and the bold result now comprises a daring floor-to-ceiling red dance floor, instagrammable private hire spaces and a stunning glass and exposed brick wall.

The Postal Museum & Mail Rail
The Postal Museum and Mail Rail are a new museum and heritage attraction based in Clerkenwell which opened in September 2017. Spread across two sites, a renovated 1920s print works building is the home of The Postal Museum, whilst across the road is Mail Rail which was the all-but-forgotten postal railway network.
Mail Rail is an immersive subterranean venue which has maintained many of its original fixtures including exposed brickwork, vaulted ceilings, archways and authentic railway features. This industrial event space also contains a mini exhibition gallery with numerous interactive displays for guests to experience during their event.
This adaptable, blank canvas event space has a capacity for 275 standing, 150 seated and 250 theatre style. Available to hire exclusively from 5pm-12am seven days a week, it is used for dinners, receptions, private celebrations, product launches, award ceremonies and presentations.
The highlight of this unique event space is the bespoke designed miniature Mail Rail trains that can be hired exclusively for corporate events to enhance an event experience. For the first time in Mail Rail’s 100 year old history, the trains carry guests on a 15 minute immersive journey through a 1km section of stalactite-filled tunnels and original deserted platforms.
The Steel Yard

Wellcome Collection is a free museum and library that aims to challenge how we all think and feel about health. Through exhibitions, collections, live programming, digital, broadcast and publishing, we create opportunities for people to think deeply about the connections between science, medicine, life and art. WC is part of Wellcome Trust, an independent global charitable foundation, which aims to improve health for everyone by helping great ideas to thrive, all profits from events held are gift aided back to Wellcome Trust.
WC houses a selection of flexible event spaces including a tiered auditorium and four seminar rooms. In addition to this there are four public exhibition galleries, two of which can be used for private drinks receptions, Library, café, restaurant, with a private dining room and shop. The event spaces offer beautifully, light modern areas with art from the collections inspiring delegates no matter what the event.
WC offers additional activities on request, for example private tours and object handling of its permanent and temporary exhibitions offering delegates an added value to their experience. In addition, senior members of Wellcome can give short introductory talks to supplement an event and bring the work that Wellcome does to the audience.
