Steeped in over 200 years of history, Lord’s is the most famous cricket ground in the world and an exceptional venue for all occasions.

Owned by Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC), Lord’s combines the traditional and modern in a unique way – a contrast typified by the Victorian Grade II* listed Pavilion and award-winning J.P. Morgan Media Centre at opposite ends of the Ground.

Lord’s Cricket Ground is nothing short of a world-class venue, not only for cricket, but for meetings and events.

The venue was recently awarded the No. 1 Sporting Venue (Venue Verdict Event Planner Feedback via BDRC) for the seventh consecutive year and received Gold Standard Hospitality in recognition of customer service for meetings and hospitality.

The significant investment in improving the facilities at Lord’s shows the ambition and desire to continually improve the customer experience. In particular, the quality of the in-house catering, combined with award-winning service, makes Lord’s a cut above the rest.

The Championships, Wimbledon

The Championships, Wimbledon, known simply as Wimbledon, is the oldest tennis tournament in the world, and is widely regarded as the most prestigious. Staged at the All England Club, which celebrates its 150th anniversary this year, for two weeks a year, the Grounds host almost 500,000 guests, 780 players, 2,000 media, 4,500 staff, and a variety of wild life as the eyes of the tennis world turn to SW19.

In 2018, the AELTC stayed true to its promise of always changing, yet staying the same, launching a series of new facilities and innovations for its stakeholder groups, including a new Big Screen on the Hill, enhanced Public Wi-Fi, new Dressing Rooms for the players, a new fine dining experience for Debenture Holders, a new Public Plaza for picnics, a new Centre Court shop, all of it brought to life with the same vision as the first Championships in 1877, that of Tennis in an English Garden.

The Kia Oval

The Kia Oval can provide a variety of options for any kind of event, from a two-person meeting to a grand event for 1,000 guests. We regularly host large conferences, award ceremonies and dinners – with a strong roster of regularly returning blue chip clients from the commercial, public and sporting sectors; with IBM, City Week, The Voice, Leaders in Sport, Ministry of Justice, PiXL and EE all having held some of their key events throughout the year at the Kia Oval.

At the Kia Oval we have been afforded the most incredible opportunities to hold conferences whilst domestic cricket games are in progress giving delegates the opportunity to engage with their event against a backdrop of a Great British institution. This also works perfectly for summer parties or a conference with a twist as organisers can utilise conference and cricket with some of our T20 games where they move from one of our conference facilities to our terraces to continue the day with a few drinks the fantastic party atmosphere of the T20 blast. There is nowhere else that offers an experience quite like this.

The London Stadium

Built to host London 2012, the former Olympic Stadium at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London Stadium is home to West Ham United in the Premier League, to UK Athletics as well as playing host to global entertainers in concerts through the summer months. We have hosted the Rugby World Cup, The Race of Champions and the RFL Four Nations, and have commitment to serve as the heart of the local community.

We’re proud to call Stratford our home with unsurpassed transport links from Stratford, Stratford International, Pudding Mill Lane and Hackney Wick stations.

Whether you want a meeting for 6 delegates or a conference for 260 attendees, we’ve got it covered. We have a variety of different sized rooms that offer flexibility for both breakouts and refreshments.

The venue truly comes to life for evening events. Consider starting your evening with a short tour visiting the changing rooms, player’s tunnel and dugout before drinks are taken with either views of the City of London or the stadium bowl prior to dinner. Whether entertaining clients, staff, or celebrating the end of a school or university term, everyone will be wowed by the stadium facilities and history.

Twickenham Stadium

Twickenham Stadium has become one of the leading sporting venues in the UK, not just growing its business year on year, but actively supporting both the unique and unusual, and sporting venue sectors. The business has come to represent the very best of unusual venues, and a reason why the sector continues to contribute to the value of the meetings and events market.

But it has also been part of a process that has seen more ambition and higher production by event organisers; a new way of considering evens in 2018.

Unique and unusual venues have always encouraged a new kind of creative, more strategic organiser, to have the event they always wanted to but couldn’t. Now the challenge is coming both ways, and through food and venue design, this ambition is growing on both sides.

For Twickenham, 2017 has been all about this process, and has laid the foundation for a very special 2018 and the launch of the venue’s new East Stand. This sort of product could not have been contemplated for the meetings and events industry, before now …
