116 Pall Mall is a magnificent Georgian building in the heart of London, just moments from some of the city’s most sought-after spots. Opened in 1828, it’s now home to the Institute of Directors.

With five floors of versatile and flexible spaces, we hosted over 850 events and 2,500 meetings in 2018. We have clients from all different sectors, and events include corporate occasions, private events, festive celebrations, weddings and more.

Banking Hall

Camm & Hooper owns and manages the Grade II listed Banking Hall in the heart of Cornhill, once home to Lloyds Bank. Designed in the 1930s, the Art Deco style venue is distinctly traditional with architectural influences taken from the tomb of Tutankhamun. This venue has been the film location of Mary Poppins Returns and British crime drama series Killing Eve. It has also provided a scenic backdrop for Estee Lauder’s television advertisement.

Corporate clients, fashion houses, film production companies and wedding parties love the dramatic grand staircase, impressive columns and prestigious location. With the flexibility of two rooms, Banking Hall and the adjoining mezzanine level can accommodate 800 guests standing or 280 seated across the whole venue.

Banking Hall adopts first class technology and modern facilities that complement and enhance the historic features of the venue. Banking Hall’s in-house catering team delivers bespoke restaurant quality food and carefully curated drinks for each event. The venue can be creatively transformed to fit the event in hand and Banking Hall’s experienced events team are well versed to bring big ideas into reality.

Central Hall Westminster

Central Hall Westminster (CHW), with its imposing Grade II* listed building, is an iconic feature of the London skyline. Designed by architects, Henry Vaughan Lanchester and Edwin Alfred Rickards, the venue is architecturally and historically significant, containing the largest self-supporting domed ceiling in Europe, ornately-designed staircase based on the Paris Opera House and numerous period features throughout. Other notable elements include the 32ft, 4731-pipe organ in the Great Hall, built by Hill & Son in 1912, giant marble pillars on the first floor and its magnificent VIP balcony which overlooks Westminster Abbey. A purpose-built meeting place since 1912 to commemorate the death of Methodist founder John Wesley, CHW is central London’s largest conferencing and events venue. Today, over 800 events are held every year including concerts, television broadcasts, graduation ceremonies and conferences. Hosting events is integral to its identity, having originally been used as a public meeting space for the Methodist Church. It offers 25 varied rooms and spaces for events of all sizes from the smallest meeting rooms to the magnificent Great Hall with a capacity of over 2,200.

Plaisterers’ Hall

Plaisterers’ Hall is a stunning historic venue in the heart of the City, and is suited perfectly to a wide range of occasions. It has a grandeur that upholds the tradition and values of the Plaisterers’ trade guild, founded in 1501.

The venue comprises of a multitude of different sized rooms, making it an incredibly flexible event space for our clients. The main space, the Great Hall, is an impressive backdrop and benefits from elegant corniced ceilings hanging with the finest gold chandeliers. As well as floor length windows flooding the venue with natural light, there is a private outside space where guests can enjoy views of the original Roman London Wall. The outdoor area is ideal for summer drinks receptions and parties in the City The Great Hall’s adjoining rooms can be used for anything from break-out spaces and entertainment to the setting for welcome drinks, or even as a dressing room for wedding celebrations.

Royal Horseguards

On November 4th 1884 the first stone was laid by the Prime Minister himself, William Gladstone, which you can still find in the cellar. Originally built as fully serviced apartments, the Royal Horseguards has graced the banks of the Thames with its elegant, imposing presence. The architectural heritage has earned the hotel a listed status, enshrining the Royal Horseguards as one of London’s most iconic buildings.

The Royal Horseguards team endeavours to ensure that the guests are well looked after. Our team are glad to host guests with a genuine smile and a desire to deliver excellence. Whether the customer is coming for a meeting or special occasion, they are provided with attentive, flexible and welcoming service, that reflects our five star rating. The Meeting and Events team are there to support clients with all requirements and arrangements in the pre-event stage, ensuring that everything runs running smoothly during the event. On the event day, the team strive to not only meet the customer’s needs, but exceed their expectations. Above all, we aim to ensure guests of the Royal Horseguards feel the building’s rich history throughout their stay.

Stationers Hall

‘The uniqueness of the venue drives footfall and increases attendance at our annual events; as an event organiser this is our biggest concern when planning events’ – Natixis (investment managers).

The four magnificent inter-linking rooms, as well as the beautiful secret walled garden, means that the Hall is extremely versatile and flexible and attracts local business as well as industry related clients. Key guests this year include The Lord Mayor, Prince Charles, David Attenborough & pop band Diversity.

Stationers’ purchased the adjoining Church creating a unique offering for couples and corporate clients, specifically fashion houses. The Stationers’ Company’s involvement in training and education began around 1557, the contributions to their charities generated from commercial summer party lettings is vast.

The introduction of an outstanding summer party package meant all key 2019 summer dates were sold out. Tastings converted at 91%, mystery shopper scores currently average 96% and customer feedback post event averages 98%. 100% of Christmas party clients in 2018 said they would return to the Hall. 2019 sees 29 engaged couples getting married and hosting their reception at the venue.

St Martin-in-the-Fields

In the heart of Trafalgar Square, St Martin-in-the-Fields has a long tradition of hospitality and welcome. From our pioneering work with homeless people through to hosting VIPs, politicians and dignitaries, St Martin’s doors are open to all. St Martin’s is the parish church to the Royal Family and 10 Downing Street but also hosts two of the country’s leading homeless support charities. We are a world famous music venue, providing performance opportunities for aspiring musicians and free concerts almost every day. All these things make St Martin’s a venue like no other.

The Old Royal Naval College

Built on the remains of Henry VIII’s Tudor Palace, serving as a Naval Hospital then Naval College, The now known, Old Royal Naval College boasts a wealth of history and grandeur from the moment you walk onto the grounds. The Painted Hall sits pride of place in the centre of this location, accompanied by the ever flexible Queen Mary Undercroft venue and more intimate Admirals House.
The events team at The Old Royal Naval College work closely with all clients to understand each and every event and ensure the whole organisational process is smooth from start to finish, with a wealth of experience and knowledge the team on this site excel in the delivery of each event.

The venue is one of a kind, in a stunning and accessible location, with the ability to host inside and outside events, from arriving by boat, to transforming the undercroft and playing skittles in Skittle Alley, our venue is uniquely diverse. From a dinner for 400 people, to a 50 person wedding, the venues at this location have the ability to be utilised in many different ways.

The Royal Society

The Royal Society offers high-end event facilities in a beautiful historic venue, providing event organisers and attendees with a first class experience.

The historic nature of the venue is reflected in both the building itself (dating back to 1700) and the long-standing history of The Royal Society, which is the national academy of science in the UK and the Commonwealth. The Royal Society has played a part in some of the most significant, and life-changing discoveries in scientific history and our scientists continue to make outstanding contributions to science.

Meetings have been held by the Royal Society since its foundation in 1660 and guests attending events at the venue can see testimonies to the prestigious Society’s past all around the venue. This provides a truly inspirational and motivating environment in which to attend a conference or event.
