Natural History Museum
Every year, particularly during peak award season September through to November, the Natural History Museum has a strong reputation for being the definitive awards venue in London. Steeped in history, the Museum brings a sense of magic and wonder to any award ceremony that is hard to find elsewhere.
The enthralling hold the venue has is evident in the fact that many of the Museum’s event bookings are repeat clients who return for their award ceremonies year after year. Repeat clients include the Bank of London’s Rainbow Awards, GUAP Gala, and the Wildlife Photographer of the Year Awards.
Every year, the Natural History Museum hosts approximately 20 award ceremonies, expertly tailored to the client’s brief. The venue has a trusted reputation for not just delivering high-quality events for clients, but of providing an iconic space within a prestigious heritage institution. The venue’s versatility in the range of awards ceremonies it can host must also be recognised, from delivering an ethereal fairytale-themed gala celebrating underrepresented creatives, to slick corporate events showcasing the best in industry from the financial sector to the legal landscape.
Roundhouse
Since re-opening in 2006, Roundhouse has hosted hundreds of awards ceremonies attended by Royalty, rock and pop stars, sports talent, actors, media, musicians, and of course the public.
From the inaugural awards ceremony for the Prince’s Trust in ’06, CNN, BT, BAFTA and Vodafone quickly followed. Now organisers flock to Roundhouse for their awards events. Each year over 40 ceremonies are held at the venue from music to publishing, media, charity, sport and social enterprise. Most return on a yearly basis, loving the space, the high-quality in-house production, facilities, and excellent customer service.
It’s easy to see why. Having taken on the building in the ‘90’s, Torquil Norman and Marcus Davey have created a first-class London venue, with a lot of different spaces. As well as putting on incredible events, Roundhouse works with 15,000 people from the age of 11-30 each year, helping them realise their potential in their creative careers through Roundhouse Studios and Roundhouse Works.
