IET London – Savoy Place
For more than 100 years, Savoy Place has undergone constant development to cater for the rapidly evolving needs of conference goers. Today, the venue offers two lecture theatres for 626 guests, a further 14 event spaces across three floors, and a roof terrace overlooking panoramic London scenes.
As the home of the Institution of Engineering and Technology, the venue is well used for STEM business events. Savoy Place continues to innovate facilities to remain the leading technology-focused conference venue and a series of recent renovations has bridged the gap for a seamless shift towards virtual and hybrid events.
Used as a centre that celebrates a revolutionary past and a pioneering future, the London venue’s rich heritage is proudly blended with the latest cutting-edge facilities. Its flagship meeting spaces include a dominating lecture theatre and the Riverside Room, which underwent an additional £280k of AV investment in 2019.
A company that highly values customer service, the venue’s multiple teams, from operations and sales, to production and tech services, deliver bespoke and personal services aided by exceptional technology, without losing the human touch.
Ministry Venues – 79 Borough Road

Situated in the heart of Borough, we have converted a Victorian diary factory into a range of cutting-edge event spaces. 79 Borough Road is modern in design but retains the industrial character of the original building.
Royal College of Physicians
The Royal College of Physicians (RCP) is over 500 years old and currently in its fifth home since 1965. This iconic grade 1 listed modern building overlooking Regent’s Park houses an award-winning conference and events centre, RCP London Events. The venue offers highly versatile facilities, including tiered auditoriums, conference, meeting, exhibition and dining spaces as well as a medicinal garden and a museum.
The RCP has a strong technology infrastructure and is committed to investing in the latest event technology services and advances. Prior to COVID, they hosted over 600 physical events per year and offered a streaming and editing services.
At the onset of the pandemic, RCP London Events pivoted to virtual and hybrid by developing an in-house virtual event platform, RCP Virtual, securing industry accreditations to ensure their venue was COVID secure and updating their catering offer.
These measures ensured RCP London Events could deliver over 100 virtual and hybrid events between March 2020 and July 2021, reaching 18,696 people and generating an income of £384K.
The pivot allowed RCP London Events to continue supporting the RCP in its work during the pandemic as well as continuing to allow their clients to reach their audiences in an impactful way.
