Hilton London Bankside – The Agora Meeting Room
Hilton London Bankside is known for its commitment to client and colleague feedback. To address the challenge of insufficient natural light and provide a unique experience, the hotel created The Agora, one of London’s most stylish meeting rooms.
In collaboration with design experts Bompas & Parr, Hilton Bankside created an environment that fosters creativity and meaningful interactions. The name Agora is taken from an ancient Greek word meaning ‘gathering place’, that was also known to be the centre of artistic trading in Athens. Accommodating up to 14 people, the meeting space showcases the hotel’s dedication to delivering a distinctive and inspiring ways to do business.
Inspired by the vibrant Bankside neighbourhood, The Agora features the Crux of Creativity—a custom-built table adorned with ley lines representing creative landmarks. State-of-the-art technology, including a 75-inch interactive screen, facilitates collaboration and connectivity.
The Agora offers a captivating multi-sensory experience with scented air, immersive lighting, and productivity-boosting plants. Scents like peppermint enhance brain activity, while the Blue Moods light setting stimulates creative thinking. An innovative display and writing surface encourage collaboration.
Supported by an experienced team, The Agora at Hilton Bankside offers a stylish, tech-savvy, and creatively stimulating environment, revolutionising the meeting experience.
Science Museum
The Science Museum, a major tourist attraction and well-established event venue, opened its multi-functional, dedicated events space llluminate in March 2019. Situated on Levels 4 and 5, this blank canvas space has dynamic light and dark theming with a blackout space on Level 4 and a larger space on Level 5 framed by a panoramic window, which provides a stunning view of London’s skyline, and fills the room with natural daylight.
Five years in the making, Illuminate was among the first of its kind, by virtue of being a purpose-built event space within a prominent unique venue. As Mary Duggan, lead architect, noted there was a real focus to ensure Illuminate was a visual representation of the museum’s wider ethos, representing the theme of possibility and progression while embodying the notion of advancement in knowledge.
Level 4’s blackout space allows for complete control of lighting, empowering clients to immerse their guests in their brand experience. As you move up to Level 5, dark resin floors move to the softer steel staircase and into the brighter space with its abundance of natural light, giving an altogether different feel.
Shoreditch Treehouse
Shoreditch Treehouse got its name owing to its exposed wooden beams and ceiling all being draped in lush green plants, twinkling fairy lights and of course with it being a Treehouse a rope swing.
We strive to make the booking process quite seamless from client’s initial enquiry through to the end of their booking. The largest means of gaining new businesses is through word-of-mouth. We tend to find that most people are wowed when they enter the space, it’s always a challenge to make the photographs do the place justice as to just how it makes you feel in real life.
We are both proud and excited to have created such a unique oasis in the heart of London and feel that our guests have appreciated the green escape just as much as we have.
The Dining Room at Ministry Venues – Borough
Opened in 2018, Ministry Venues –Borough started its long-standing history as a Letts diary factory. Now, over 150 years later, it has been renovated into a modern venue with unique spaces and dedicated meeting rooms.
The concept of ‘Premium Raw’ was adopted with Borough. Everything was stripped out –the walls, the floors, and the ceilings were all exposed and taken back to their natural state. Rather than doing the same as everyone else and covering up ‘imperfections’, these would then become the character of the spaces and have created a stylish, modern, venue with plenty of character.
The Meeting Room Suite, located on the Ground Floor of the venue, with its bespoke Italian furnishings and inviting decor, provides a comforting atmosphere that is often not found in meeting rooms.
The Neuron Pod
Neuron Pod’ is a state-of-the-art purpose built learning space and now private hire venue at the world famous Research unit at Queen Mary University. The multi-functional Neuron Pod can accommodate an array of private and corporate events from conferences & product launches to away days and drink receptions, ensuring a ‘wow factor’ for guests.
The brainchild of the late Professor Will Alsop OBE RA, the Neuron Pod is a striking free-standing structure designed to look like a living oLocated in the heart of East London within the architecturally renowned Blizard Institute, just a short walk from Whitechapel station. The Interior features an array of atmospheric coloured lighting whilst the dramatic external lighting of the ‘flexible hair like dentrites’ that sway and move in the wind has made the space instantly recognisable and has been awarded the prestigious LIT Lighting Design Award. rganism, standing 10 metres high and 23 metres long.
