Based in the heart of stylish Marylebone, 41 Portland Place is a one of London’s finest Georgian Townhouse venues.
Behind the hustle and bustle of Oxford Circus, the Grade II* listed Townhouse was designed by James Adam in 1773 and was a private home until 1939. Now, the venue is set within the prestigious home of the Academy of Medical Sciences. Profits generated through hiring the venue fund charitable activities ran by the Academy of Medical Sciences helping medical research improve health.
The venue boasts eight bright versatile event spaces, including a chic roof top terrace. All spaces combine subtle period features with modern, immaculately maintained facilities with audio-visual including state-of-the-art hybrid equipment. Clients describe our venue “like it is moving through time” from dark panelled rooms to purposely soundproof spaces.
From press takeovers, Summer and Christmas receptions, larger conferences to intimate dining, baby showers, birthday parties and weddings, the versatility of the venue suits every occasion. We offer 20% for medical and fellow events.

116 Pall Mall is a magnificent Grade-I listed Georgian building in the heart of London. Opened in 1828, it’s now home to the Institute of Directors, along with offering co-working spaces, dining areas, a Champagne bar and a huge range of historic, modern and adaptable event spaces and meeting rooms.

RIBA at 66 Portland Place
RIBA at 66 Portland Place is an Art Deco inspired Grade II* listed historic building, which features a plethora of versatile, architecturally stunning event spaces designed for clients to entertain, celebrate, learn, and network.
RIBA has retained many original 1930s features to create a beautiful and inspiring backdrop for events. Whether it’s an AGM in the light-filled RIBA Gallery or purpose-built Jarvis Hall; a reception on the grand landing around the marble staircase; or an awards ceremony in the breath-taking Florence Hall with its high ceilings, carved walls and outdoor terrace, the building is incredibly versatile, whilst still retaining its uniqueness.
RIBA successfully blends its historic and architectural roots and stunning Art Deco design with technical innovation and exceptional service, attracting clients from industries including charities, business, film, and media.
Science Museum
The Science Museum is a major tourist attraction and well-established event venue featuring a diverse collection of spaces – 12 inspirational galleries, two dedicated multi-purpose venues and IMAX: The Ronson Theatre.
The museum’s collections offer a synergy with all major industries – pharmaceutical, government, engineering/manufacturing, aviation, IT, telecommunications, space and environmental, with events spanning large scale, multi-day conferences, hybrid, awards, drinks receptions, product launches, screenings, and parties.
The museum is unquestionably a unique venue, however with Illuminate and the Smith Centre as part of the venue inventory, there are also two purpose-built spaces, which are available for daytime and evening events.
Searcys at the Gherkin
Across the top three floors of one of the City of London’s most iconic landmarks, Searcys at the Gherkin is a hugely versatile event space. The venue offers unrivalled 360º views for any event. Guests can enjoy an uninterrupted backdrop of London, looking over the Thames, winding its way through boroughs and parkland.
Five private dining rooms on Level 38 are available for small meetings and intimate events. Levels 39 and 40 host 140 guests for seated dinners or for 260 guests for glittering cocktail receptions, presentations, product launches and weddings, and are also home to a popular Searcys public restaurant and champagne bar.
The venue is now getting over 500 event enquiries a month. Since June 2021, we have hosted over 560 events for 19,100 guests, and the Gherkin restaurant and bar have welcomed 43,000+ diners. Recent event clients range from Lorraine Pascal Wedding Circle; a Crypto Drinks Reception, Dentist on the Rock convention and dinner, Buyagift Galantines Day event, and Toyota’s Summer Party. In 2021-2022, The Gherkin team raised £4k for hospitality charity Beyond Food and almost £2k for #CookforUkraine with UNICEF as part of Searcys sustainability pledges.
The Montague on the Gardens Hotel
The Montague on the Gardens, a luxury 4 star boutique is Grade 2 listed & consists of nine Georgian Townhouses with history dating back to 1815. Situated a stones throw away from The West End, it is at the heart of key transport links (St.Pancras) & attractions (British Museum), making this centrally located hotel the perfect venue for events.
In 2011, the talented team saw a gap in the market & created London’s first and original alpine style ‘Ski Lodge’ (in the 12th season). Following this success, a Hawaiian themed ‘Beach Bar’ (in its 7th season) was born. The Ski Lodge & The Beach Bar are well-established Christmas & Summer venues in London with increased revenue & guests year on year.
Not only home to a growing portfolio of immersive pop-up experiences, it is celebrated for its stunning terraces & conservatories that overlook the secluded Bedford Gardens, has three private dining/meeting rooms, DJ/dancefloor, hosting events for up to 180 guests. It also has 101 guest rooms, is pet friendly & a popular location for filming/TV.
