Best Seasonal Party Venue
City Central at the HAC
City Central at the HAC is one of London’s premier seasonal event venues, offering immersive summer and winter experiences within the six-acre private grounds of the Honourable Artillery Company. Operated by Ultimate since 2009, the venue is purpose-built twice yearly and accommodates between 400 and 2,400 guests across more than 2,500 square metres of flexible event space.
A key strength is the seamless integration of indoor and outdoor environments. In summer, guests enjoy alfresco receptions overlooking the HAC’s cricket grounds, lawn entertainment, and exclusive access to London’s only city-based onsite funfair, complete with a Ferris wheel, carousel, and dodgems. In winter, the venue transforms into a festive destination featuring a starlit ceiling, atmospheric lighting, and indoor dodgems, available for both shared and exclusive hire.
Ultimate provides a full turnkey solution encompassing catering, AV, staging, production, staffing, and entertainment. A £150,000 soundproofing investment enables high-energy, music-led events rarely achievable within a temporary central London structure. Catering is delivered by Create (CH&CO Group), with a strong focus on sustainability, responsible sourcing, and certified environmental management systems.
New York, New York – Evolution London
Evolution London, Smart Group’s flagship 5,500sqm venue in Battersea Park, transformed itself into 1920s New York City for Christmas 2025. From a scarlet-red atrium styled on grand hotel arrivals to street scenes inspired by Broadway, Central Park and the urban energy of Brooklyn and Harlem, every corner of the venue told a different part of the story.
Award-winning in-house caterer Moving Venue brought the theme to life through a New York-inspired menu, while a state-of-the-art production spec, from a proscenium-arched main stage to venue-wide LED screens, supported live performance throughout the night. Four dedicated bars, including a 1920s speakeasy and a classic Irish pub, gave guests their choice of New York hospitality.
This is just one expression of what Evolution London does best: the same space flexes from exclusive Christmas parties to a dedicated summer programme, and has even been structurally reimagined for immersive theatre experiences. With a 76% client retention rate and long-standing relationships across technology, finance, law and media, Evolution London continues to prove it’s one of London’s most versatile large-scale event spaces.

Somerset House has established itself as one of London’s most distinctive seasonal event venues, where heritage, scale and innovation combine to deliver exceptional experiences year-round. In winter, Skate continues to evolve, offering interactive, high-demand experiences and alternative festive formats for major corporate clients.
Strong demand is driven predominantly by corporate audiences, with rising repeat bookings demonstrating sustained client satisfaction. Meanwhile, brand activations and public programming enhance footfall and cultural relevance.
Underpinned by operational excellence, long-term investment, and a commitment to accessibility and sustainability, Somerset House continues to redefine how a London venue can maximise its spaces, engage diverse audiences, and deliver standout seasonal events.
