Most Versatile London Venue
Excel London
2025 will forever be a milestone year for Excel London. Those 12 months saw the venue record its busiest year to date, as well as being the venue’s 25th anniversary.
Alongside successfully hosting 350 events, including leading sporting, technology, medical, trade and consumer shows, Excel once again hosted its flagship and highly complex motorsport event Formula E on the world’s only indoor/outdoor track (and all whilst still constructing its forthcoming 25,000sqm expansion!)
However, its biggest achievement and testament to its versatility and flexibility was transforming its waterfront into the UK’s largest immersive entertainment district. At 160,000sqft, the new destination houses five leading immersive attractions, as well as a new 400-cover restaurant and bar – all showing the diversification of the venue.
It was also a year of record investment – more than £350 million – in the business, as well as additional focus on sustainability with the carbon neutral venue also setting out its net zero roadmap, going hand-in-hand with initiatives such as making 50% of its menus plant-forward, becoming a Planet Mark Certified Business and being the first venue to use Isla’s TRACE carbon measurement tool.

Recent investment includes The Deck, an 800sqm blank canvas space with panoramic pitch views, alongside 3,350 solar panels powering all events and new LED entrance screens that elevate guest arrival.
Our unique combination of scale, flexibility, and atmosphere sets us apart. Clients can host ceremonies in the stands, walk guests through the players’ tunnel, or build immersive branded experiences across multiple zones.
We work collaboratively with our partners to deliver digital first, sustainable solutions. Our personalised planning approach, led by our dedicated event manager, ensures seamless delivery and strong client loyalty. Catering is equally adaptable, with plant positive menus, seasonal dishes, street food stalls, and dry hire kitchens for full creative control.
London Stadium continues to redefine what a truly versatile venue can be and should be.
